Adult Dentistry
Adult Dentistry, also known as “Adult Dental Medicine” , is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the mouth, commonly in development and arrangement of teeth as well as the gums, and of adjacent and related structures and tissues, particularly in associated jaw and facial areas of persons of age above 18 years.

- Endodontics – Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases of the dental pulp and the surrounding tissues
- Prosthodontics – Specializes in treating complex dental and facial matters, including the restoration and replacement of missing or damaged teeth with artificial devices
- Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery – surgical specialty focusing on reconstructive surgery of the face, facial trauma surgery, the oral cavity, head and neck, mouth, and jaws, as well as facial cosmetic surgery.
- Orthodontics – entails the management of tooth movement, dentofacial orthopedics involves the guidance of facial growth and facial development, using braces or aligners
- Periodontics – specialty focusing exclusively in the inflammatory disease that destroys the gums and other supporting structures around the teeth
- Implantology – procedure that replaces tooth roots with metal, screwlike posts and replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function much like real ones
