Arrival & Assessment
On arrival, you are seen promptly. Your dentist carries out an urgent clinical examination — including X-rays where needed — to assess the extent of the emergency and determine the appropriate treatment.
Pain Management
Immediate pain relief is the first priority. Local anaesthesia is administered as appropriate. For anxious patients — especially children — Nitrous Oxide sedation is available to ensure the emergency appointment is as comfortable as possible.
Emergency Treatment
Treatment is provided to address the immediate problem: pain relief, infection control, temporary or permanent restoration, reimplantation, or extraction where necessary. The goal is to stabilise the situation and relieve pain — further treatment may be planned at a follow-up appointment.
Aftercare & Follow-Up
You receive full aftercare instructions and, where needed, a prescription for antibiotics or pain relief. A follow-up appointment is scheduled to complete any treatment that could not be fully addressed in the emergency slot.
